Halfway There, Hello Hale'iwa

It's a long way to Australia from anywhere, so I try to break up the journey. I stopped in to see my old stomping grounds on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. I stayed here in Hale'iwa when I was filming "The Byrds of Paradise." Hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago. I first came here in 1967 on the way to Japan with Judy Collins and Mimi Fariña. Jackie is fighting for her life at this point. She is continually surrounded by her family. She has good days and bad days.
